Two-factor authentication, also known as 2FA, is a process which requires two steps to verify a user. Rather than just asking for a single piece of information – such as a password — two factor authentication goes a step further to enhance the level of security within the system.

HOW TO ENABLE 2FA

 Follow the steps below which will help guide you on how to enable and set up 2FA on your account.

 Log into your account

Using your preferred authentication application like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Apple Password application

·        Scan the generated QR code

·        Enter the code displayed on your authentication app

·        Click the Confirm button to enable 2FA on your account

Login to your account by going to https://console.storvault.co.za  

·        Open your preferred authentication app

·        Input the 6-digit code displayed on the authentication app into the input fields displayed during login

·        Click Authenticate to log into your account

After clicking Authenticate, you will be logged into your account

ACCOUNT RECOVERY 

If you are unable to access your 2FA authentication code due to your device being lost or unavailable, follow the steps below to recover your account using your account recovery codes.
